How good is the cx for gaming?

Hello, so I'm wondering about buying a new psu and the one that catches my eye is the corsair cx series,
My question is how good they are for gaming and if I can go with that one or should chose something else

If needed the build:
Cpu: Intel core i5 6600k
Cooler: cooler master hyper 212 Evo
Mobo: Asus Z170-A
Gpu: Msi gtx GeForce 970 4gb
Ram: Corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 8gb(2 x 4)
Hdd: WD blue 1tb
Case: Fractal design define r4

Just so you know, I'll be adding a ssd in the future and if needed also upgrading my cooler, the gpu I bought cause it suits all my needs also got it for a killing price so can't switch it for a 1060, wouldn't really need to either.

So if you recommend a different psu please have it around 70-80$ and above 500w

IMO all better than the CX line. Personally I'd grab one of the G2s. The CXs are fine for gaming but could do a bit better in the overclocking front, if you plan on doing that.

I do really like the supernova gold but they are a little bit to expensive for me tbh, I would rather spend less, but yes I am planning on overclocking and if you think this is what I need and should get so, but if there are cheaper options I would really appreciate them. Thanks for the answer tho
