How high is Ryzen 7 2700X temperatures under load with the Wraith Prism in tropical regions?

Where I live, temperatures during summer go above 30 degrees Celsius indoors. I currently have an FX-8320 that would fails to go beyond 3.5GHz once the core temp goes a little beyond 60. Moreover, with a 125W TDP processor, it was difficult to find a compact cooling solution that would fit my case (Corsair Carbide 100R). I am using an Antec A40 Pro with two Arctic F9 PST CO fans in push/pull to keep in cool. Moreover, I have 5 other 120mm case fans running, without which the CPU core temp hits 70. The FX 8320 stock cooler from Cooler Master was loud and really pathetic. So, i changed it.

All this is also highly taxing my PSU.

Presently, I am thinking of upgrading to the Ryzen 7 2700X that has a slightly lower TDP. I need to know how well the CPU performs under load. I will run it in stock settings, no OC, and use the stock cooler with an B350 board. Probably, I will get the Asus Prime B350-A.

Workloads include tons of photo editing in Lightroom, some work in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. Moreover, for college assignments, I need to run some machine learning code written in Python. This often caused the core temp of the FX CPU to go beyond 65.

For a GPU, I got an RX480 8GB OC from Sapphire and 16GB of RAM.

Is the Wraith Prism sufficient for the 105W CPU, or should I for go for the Ryzen 2700 which runs has 65W.

The processor is a good choice but on the cpu cooler options i wouldnt go with the stock one cause it will and surely spike up your temperature under load . i will recommend getting this :- https://www.amazon.in/COOLER-MASTER-LIQUID-MASTERLIQUID-LITE/dp/B06WRRDS73/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1526282274&sr=8-2&keywords=ryzen+7+2700x&dpID=419RjIJ2zGL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch But if you are not in water cooling and can sqeeze up your budget a little more i will say go for :-https://www.amazon.in/noctua-NH-D15-Heatpipe-CPU-Cooler/dp/B00L7UZMAK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1526282368&sr=8-1&keywords=noctua
pretty decent optins but at the end it all depends on your preference and yes this cpu has enough fire power for all of your work !

Honestly I would got with an AIO or a CPU that doesn't run as hot; @stock with heavy loads it will hit 82C+ in temperate climates; I had an i7 6700 I used in the US and in sub-Saharan Africa that had a 25C difference between each climate; I had to undervolt and underclock the CPU in Africa to keep from thermal throttling at 100+C.

I would get the Ryzen 7 2700 if it came with a better cooler. The Wraith Spire looks quite underpowered. Moreover, I need to dismantle the cooler mounting bracket on the motherboard as the Wraith Spire has a different mounting mechanism than the Wraith Prism.

I need to know which stock cooler performs better. Does the Wraith Spire keep the Ryzen 7 2700 cooler than the Wraith Prism can keep the Ryzen 7 2700X?

The wraith prism is going to be the best out of those two options. It can handle a decent amount of cooling, but given your location, it might not be the best option. I honestly wouldn't even be considering the stock cooler with any processor you'd be purchasing, they'll all require a 3rd party cooler.

W. Prism with 2700X or the W. Spire with 2700? Which would be the better/cooler option?
