Question How hot does CPU have to be to get BIOS "CPU overheating alert?"

I built a PC this summer and haven't had any issues with it. CPU runs around 60-70c in most games, occasionally to 80c for more demanding ones.

I restarted my PC today and got this message for less than a minute (found image elsewhere on internet). I could hear my CPU fans increasing and decreasing RPM.

The message went away and went to my BIOS loading image. It wouldn't load into Windows so I turned off my PC by holding the case power button.

I powered my PC on and then nothing displayed on my monitors. I knew my PC was powered on because the case lights were on.
Holding the case power button didn't turn it off so I had to power it off with the PSU switch.

After turning my PC on a third-time it booted normally. Got into Windows with no CPU overheating alerts.

I downloaded the latest Windows 11 update and my CPU and GPU drivers were up to date. I verified my Windows files weren't corrupt by running some commands in cmd.
I powered my PC off and on again and restarted it too. I couldn't recreate this problem. It booted on and off normally without any overheating.

How hot did my CPU get to receive that BIOS alert message? Should I be worried?
Is there anything else I should troubleshoot? Thanks!

A quick Google says TJ Max is 89, but I also saw claims of 82 and 85.

I did NOT look at official AMD specs at AMD web site.

"AMD states that the Ryzen 7000 series, especially the models with many cores, have high operating temperatures by design, which don’t pose a problem for their performance and reliability. For the Ryzen 7000X3D models, the maximum Tjunction (TJMax) temperature is around 89C under intense multi-thread loads. The TJMax is the maximum safe operating temperature, not the absolute max temperature. In other words, according to AMD, there will be no issues with the CPU running at 89°C all day. For the multi-core 7000X models, this temperature is a bit higher, at 95°C."

Thank you for the reply @Lafong

I went into my BIOS and looked at the setting that enables/disables this alert but I couldn't see the temp value in order to verify the alert displays when the CPU hits its TJMax temp.

I had some more strange behavior with my PC. After a restart it was running extremely slow. Temps still fine.

I did another restart and my PC ran fine... I uninstalled Windows update kb5046732 and updated my BIOS to 7D75v1L2.

I've done a bunch of restarts since then and haven't had any issues. Hope whatever the problem was is gone.
