How hot should my cpu get

Hi I have a AMD Fx 9590 cpu and wondering if its the reason that my pc totally locks up when im playing battlefield 1 on ultra the recommend settings in the game, I currently have it liquid cooled by a after market cooler not the one that came in the box its a lepa 240mm one and I can only assume it can handle the extreme heat this little chip can put off?

Most builds designed with 9000 SERIES CPU's ARE NEVER STABLE even with great cooling and power.

So is it worth making the switch to just a decent Intel processor because moneys not the problem im just wanting the best bang for my buck and thats why I went with amd but starting to regret it now

FX chips are now EOL , time to move to intel OR RYZEN.
