Hi there.

I have an RX 6800 XT and an RX 580 8gb and I want use both at the same time (Not crossfire X ) not in-game but for Rander. My motherboard supports Dual GPUs but when I install the RX 6800 XT latest driver it
doesn't recognize the RX 580, and when I install RX 580 latest driver from AMD support it can't find
the RX 6800 XT. How do I install these two GPUs at same time (I have driver problem).

I used in 2022 but I don't need 580 I took it out but now I need too be dual GPU but driver 24.10.1 don't support 580.

My config
CPU r9 3950x
Mot ASUS ROG STRIX b550 GAMING F WIFI II
PSU ASUS ROG 1050W
GPU 1 RX 6800xt xfx swft
Gpu 2 RX 580 8 gb Pulse sapphire

not in game but for Rander
What renderer are you working with? I would advise to stick to your RX6800XT since that's the most powerful GPU among the 2 you've mentioned.

You've found out that the drivers themselves are different with regards to the GPU you're working with even though they are both in your system.

The most recent driver both cards are supported by is 24.9.1, but recent drivers are considered buggy and unstable on RX580 from 2017 so the usual suggestion is something between 23.4.2 and 23.8.2 for gaming, all of which also support RX6800XT from 2020. I don't know if that is relevant for your use case.

Even older 21.x drivers worked fine for RX580 but it wasn't until 22.5.1 that drivers for RDNA cards like your RX6800XT really matured so I would stick with the above.
