Poorly?
Instead of going on a rant about the BOSS sites, I will just say this. Dont use them, just, dont.
Lets just point this out: Better overclocked clock speed (Water) 3.1 GHz vs 2.4 GHz.
Ah yes, water cooling, on a mobile processor, integrated into a laptop... yeah.
Not to mention the 5500u has a 3GHz boost clock, not 2.4
I'm not saying the 5500u is better than the 6500u, I'm just confused about the scoring system.
The 6500u wins everywhere, yet they gave it a lower score.
6th gen is better than 5th, right?
Oh Im not comparing them to recommend which is better (or disagreeing with you) but rather showing how blatantly incorrect CPUBoss is.
They are known to report false results, withold information (Example, they left out the integrated graphics on the 6500u which are far superior than the 5500u), and generally be biased.
They arent reliable with their "scoring"
If all you want is a comparison of the specs for each CPU, I'd say it's just as easy to go directly to the Intel product pages. http://ark.intel.com/compare/85214,88194
Synthetic benchmarks are flawed right from the start. If the benchmark doesn't involve the task and software that you'll be using then the result is meaningless.
Stick to benchmarks relative to the things you'll be doing.
