Hello,
Any issues/bottlenecks in this specs for gaming ?
Gigabyte 990FXA-D3
AMD Phenom II X2 550
Geforce 9500GT 512 DDR3 ZALMAN
2x2 gb Kingston DDR3
commercial brand Psu
And thanks
P.s: i haven't tried to OC any of the cpu/gpu, i don't know how/where it would go with the OC .

Solution
''AMD Phenom II X2 550'' = get a fx 8320 instead
''Geforce 9500GT 512 DDR3 ZALMAN'' = get a real gpu card like R7 265 and up or gtx 960 and up
''2x2 gb Kingston DDR3'' = get a dual channel ram kit like 2X4 DDR3 ram

Ok for the cpu i dont have enough money to get a better one for now, will it so the job till i save up and how about if i OCed it ? Dies this board support unlocking the cpu's 4 cores ?

The gpu i will have to save up to get a better one as well, and i was thinking of getting another 9500gt and install it via sli, do u think it will do the job along with the oced pii x2 ?

For the ram i have 3gb ram ddr2, does this board support installing the ddr2 along with the ddr3 at the same time ? If that so ill get 6gb ram .

What do u think of the mobo as in general ? Will it last for a couple of or three more years if i decided to upgrade the gpu and cpu ?

Do i need a better psu for the gpu/cpu or the one i have is enough ?
Thank u so much

This will play older games ok (4 to 5 years old), games from the early 360 and PS3 era should be ok. You might want to consider buying a second hand GTX 280 or a HD 4890 as these should be obtainable at a very cheap price and will give a big improvement in performance.

You won't be able to mix DDR2 and DDR3 RAM nor do I think your board can take DDR3 (I haven't looked it up but it's not common). But for these older games 4gb should be enough.

There are still some cool games you could play though. Try XCOM Enemy Within (on low/mid settings) and Half-life 2.
