I was planning to move my gaming PC to the other side of the room because it has noisy fans. So I was wondering if i can extend my mouse and keyboard with some USB extension cables, but will this cause lag? (I am a gamer so i care about timing and accuracy)

Just make sure it's an active USB entension cable like https://www.amazon.com/CableCreation-Active-Extension-Extender-Female/dp/B0179MXKU8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497134265&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=Active+USB+extender&psc=1 connected to a USB 3.0 connection on your motherboard's I/O panel.

I'll be needing an extension for the Vive when I buy it so I've been looking at...
