how long can u leave a labtop os the charger ?

Im just wondering if its really good for the laptop battery to be on the charger 24/7 a day. its a toshiba a 305-s6837. my dad told me to keep the battery charged if u can as long as possible because if the battery dies alot it will weaken the battery. so is that true ?

I don't think it hurts either way.

chargers are smart, abd these aren't lead acid batteries, they are generaly cutting edge

In the olden days completly emptying a battery & then recharging it gave best results but these days things have moved on. It will only take what it needs so don't worry about it.
