Hello
I just bought a i7 4790k but I didn't have enough to buy a aftermarket cooler.

How long can I run the computer at stock CPU speed before I need to up grade the cpu cooler?

How about a air coolers from Scythe?

Good liquid coolers?
Do I need the dual fan type or the single fan type?

If you're not going to overclock, then you'll likely never require aftermarket cooling. The only time I'd suggest this is if your ambient room temperatures are very hot, in which case you might need something better than stock. But under normal conditions, stock cooling is perfectly fine for non-overclocking scenarios.
