How long will a corsair cx 450m last?

So according to the PSU tier list these are tier 4, however i know my friend has a cx 600 which is supposedly worse than the white sticker cx series, he has been using for a year now without a problem on a heavily overclocked machine. How long can i expect the psu to last before replacing? (I only plan on oc ram and gpu)

I dont have the $ for a quality PSU (the cx 450m is $25 where im located)
