how long will you guys think this will last until I have to upgrade again so it catches up to gaming

At 1080P, probably 3-5 on the CPU & 2 years on the GPU but it also comes down to what settings & FPS you can tolerate.

I think it could be morthe than that cause ps4 was released at 2013 and its 2019 rn and also gtx 1660 to is new and is better than a 1070

PS4 performance timeline has nothing to do with PC performance timeline.

Decently long, unless your PSU is trashy, then maybe a few months or years.
Those specs are very good, and will last you a wile.

if you play the same games on a game console then why would you want a PC for games then?

Only you can say how long you're willing to put up with the performance of your PC. Your current specs should exceed the minimum system requirements for most games for years to come.

Your setup will be good until you buy a game that does not play well enough to your satisfaction.

In addition to the cpu and gpu, you may find that what drives an upgrade is a larger/faster/better monitor.

You have at least a midrange setup if not stronger.
Most gamers will have much less.
Game makers want the largest possible market for their products so you should not be seeing any wild required specs coming.

This is the answer^ but if I had to put a date on it I'd say 5 years

all games are capped on 60 fps on consoles and i doubt it will go over 65 fps, on gta v.. also need to play CS:GO and Roblox
