How long would the ASUS GTX580 DirectCUii be able to play games at MAX

Hello, I'm looking to build a new computer nd for the graphics card i was looking at the GTX580 but was wondering how long it will be able to play games at max? I'll be playing on a single 1920x1280 monitor.

If the majority of games continue to be based on console ports like, crysis 2, then the card will last for a very long time.

yeah, consoles hold the games from "evoluting" that's why i think the 580 will play at max like 2-3 years

Depend on a particular game.
But it should play everything on max coming out for next 2 years.
