i have an asus z170-a motherboard and a nzxt phantom case how many fans can the mobo hold and how many stock fans do i have?

the psu is a 750w supernova g2 and im not sure which exact model my case is but it has controls on top for the fans if it helps narrow it down a bit also its a fulltower one

If it's the regular NZXT Phantom case, which I'm assuming it is, then it comes with four stock fans and can support up to six total fans. one 140mm, three 120mm, and two 200mm fans. Comes with three 120mm fans and a 200mm fan

oh ok, but can my motherboard have all of the 4 hooked up to it and have the cpu cooler?

Yes, the motherboard has four four pin chassis fan connectors as well as the CPU fan connector
