How Many Fans Do I Need?

Hi,
This is my first time building a PC, and I am trying to figure out how many fans I need to get sufficient airflow throughout the case. Is it right to mount the exhaust fans on the top and back of the case, and the intake on the front/bottom? I will be using the computer mainly for gaming and school work.

Also, would these parts be compatible with each other? Thanks in advance.

The parts are all compatible, but the PSU is... well, low quality, to be kind. Check out this tiered list and try to stay in the top 3 tiers. That GTX 770 is going to need a quality 600W or better power supply with 2 x 6+2 pin PCIe cables. https://community.newegg.com/eggxpert/computer_hardware/f/135081/t/45344.aspx?Redirected=true
The case is good quality, but doesn't have much room behind the MB tray for cable management. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider.
You probably don't need ANY more fans with the 2 big intake and the 120mm exhaust. And yes, you have the correct idea about intake and exhaust layout. If you want to add more fans, the side panel would be about the only place that would be available from what I see.
