I'm told that the CPU decides on how many NVMe SSDs I can add to the motherboard. I would like to know how many of them I can add while still using Sata SSDs.

Specs
Intel i5 13600k
Ram : 32 GB Ripjaws V
GPU : Nvidia RTX 2060 6GB
Motherboard : MSI MAG B660 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 (MS- 7D41)
OS : Windows 11 Pro
Drives: Kingston A2000 1TB
Crucial MX500 2TB
Crucial MX500 4TB
Samsung 870 Evo 2TB

Solution
I was told that depending on what cpu is used you can't use all the m.2 slots.

So I take it that doesn't matter in this specific motherboard?

M.2 functionality depends on the particular motherboard.
There is no universal concept of "you can't use all the m.2 slots"

You have 3x M.2 ports, all can be used.
1 of the SATA ports will be disabled when using the M2_3 port.

"SATA7 will be unavailable when installing M.2 SATA SSD in the M2_3 slot."

Ok..so if I want to use the M2_3 slot it will disable one of the sata ports even if one SSD Sata is inserted?

And this is only if I use an m.2 Sata SSD on the m2_3. Am I right in this?

Otherwise all nvmes can be put with the sata ssds?
