How much better of a CPU is this?

The best CPU my motherboard can support is an AMD Phenom II 945 95w, how good is that compared to a Phenom X4 9550? Is it worth a $100 upgrade?

if you can afford it then yes it will last you longer but i wouldn't say it would give you that much of a noticeable performance increase
