How much faster would a bigger HD be?

Hello,
I really need a 500GB HD. I am thinking of getting a much larger one expecting it to be faster. Assuming I never use more than 500 GB, how much faster would a 1 TB, 2 TB, or even 3 TB drive be?

The size of the Hard Drive does NOT change how fast it will run, what you need to look at is the RPM. Example: A 200gb 7200RPM is better than a 4TB 5400RPM.
The more RPM the faster it will read and write data.

Actually the platter density will affect speed but you won't notice the difference in normal situations. If you want speed get an ssd.
