Hi guys :)

I have a brand new PC, my spec are the following:

MSI A68HM Grenade Motherboard
AMD X4 860K CPU
Sapphire Radeon Nitro R7 360 2GB DDR5 GPU
8GB HyperX DDR3 1866 RAM
Corsair VS 450 PSU
150 GB Hard Drive

I'm running genuine Windows 7 Professional 64 bit edition.

I play CSGO on 1024 x 768 resolution with everything on low, no AA, etc.

I did a FPS test and it says that my average FPS is 135, I must say, I'm pretty dissapointed, I thought that my new PC would average quite a bit higher, considering that I run everything on low and all graphics set to lowest as possible.

In Windows Experience Index, My CPU has a score of 7.4, my GPU has a score of 7.7 and my Hard Drive has a score of 5.7

The highest score possible is 7.9

I'm just not sure where my PC is going wrong.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, truly.

Thank in advance.

Kind regards, Jonathan

Solution
135 fps is plenty even if you have 144Hz monitor. It's about right, if you monitor your cpu usage I expect 1 or 2 cores at least are hitting 100%.
The x4 860k is a great budget CPU for gaming but by no means is it suppose to be a monster. Same for the GPU. I get about the same FPS with maxed settings using the same CPU but my graphics card is an R9 380. Anyways if your monitor its only 60hz then getting higher than 60fps won't really matter, unless you overclock your monitor to like 70hz
