Got a new 55” smart tv and this one is just sitting in my living room

$100-$150 maybe? People generally aren't willing to spend much on used TV's.
I had a 42" that a barely got anything for. My cheap phone was still worth more!

I scrutinized eBay. and wow so many parts available for that tv its scary, but found none for sale. which is odd.
so I scoured google. and they still sell them as refurbished at average price of 220$...
so 100-150$ seems to me to fit the bill for the value of your TV

I think you might struggle to sell it. Use TVs from private parties are tough to sell. I'd suggest you put it out there for 200 or best offer and take any offer from 100 or above. Most will want to see it in action, which can make the conventional wisdom of meeting at starbucks to complete Craigslist sales a little tricky.

If you are lucky, your network of friends will know someone who needs/wants a TV.
