How much resources does aero take? will my dual set up be enough?

i am planning to get a AMD Athlon II X2 240 CPU with a MB that has a 780G chipset which has ATI HD 3200 integrated graphics, will it be able to handle aero?

Windows Vista Experience Index gives it a 3.5 for Aero.

Not that I'm aware of. I did some searching to find yours. And that's more to do with your graphics solution than CPU. The 3.5 score is for the HD 3200.

so aero is more of a video card thing than a cpu thing? or 50/50 etc?

More a GPU thing in Win 7.

Aero is processed exclusively by the graphics card.
