How much should I resell my custom PC for? Suggestions on where to sell?

Hello, I am from Canada, about to move away from home for university, I plan on buying a laptop, and since I rarely use my desktop I thought I should just sell it.

I read somewhere 30% of the original value is a good resell price, but I think because the parts are fairly outdated that number will change.

Also, it comes with Windows of course.

Since I live in Canada, we generally sell things using kijiji, like a more professional craigslist. Is this good, or are there other places you recommend?

Use sold auctions on E-Bay Canada to get a value for the CPU/motherboard, case and graphics card. That should give you an estimate for the entire set.
