Hi!

Can harddisks be installed pretty close to eachother? Got a mini-case and there are three 3.5" slots. Two without a front opening and one slot for a floppy. Got one in the bottom slot, and one in the floppy slot, is it ok to install one inbetween?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the drive and the use.
Some drives need more cooling than others, constant loads will produce more heat than occasional loads...

If you have your hard drives close together it's always a good idea to have a fan blowing on them, heat is the biggest enemy of hard drives. I have mine mounted almost right on top of each other but I have a fan in front of them which keeps them cool.
