Title. Just bought a 780ti based rig due to my last one dying on me, and a bit sad I couldn't wait for the 880s.

That said, it's still a good card and I am looking forward to it.

My biggest worry is the Vram, which I expect that in a year or two is just not going to be sufficient.

I will likely need to trade something and since I game at 1440p, it's probably going to be AA.

Now as far as I know, FXAA doesn't use Vram (and tends to look crappy). But what the other types? How much difference in terms of Vram usage does enabling/disabling AA at various levels do?

Is there any resource I could look into regarding this?

i believe when you use AA it mostly effects your CPU your vram will mostly be effected by your resolution more then your AA setting though i could be wrong the amount it effects i have no knowledge on but it couldn't be much

Found an interesting video:

Cliffnotes:
- FXAA - barely any vram.
- SMAA - about 100 mb in Crysis 3.
- TXAA - about 400 mb.
- MSAA - about 700 mb.

Not sure what level they were using, but still interesting! This is all 1080p, would love to find some more info at 1440p.
