How much watt psu is needed?

Hey guys thanks for checking my post I am not sure how much watt my psu must need for this pc build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/4TDPD3

I just chose a 430 watt psu but I think it's a little too much for this build because pcpartpicker says it's about 300 watts but that is just estimated so my question is how much watt do I really need? Please leave reply thanks for your help!

You could buy a quality 300W PSU if you can find one, but why do you think 430W is too much? The PSU won't work as hard, it will run cooler and be less noisy since the cooling fan won't have to spin as fast. I use a 650W PSU in a PC that draws less than 300W simply because I want it to be quiet.

The R7 260X need a quality 450W PSU that can deliver 19Amps or more on a +12V rail.
The 430W is actually recommended for R7 260 that need 18Amps on +12V rail
The first most important criteria in selecting the PSU is to see how many Amps it can deliver on its +12V rail, besides the wattage.

So having said that the EVGA 430W PSU is a 80+ certified that can max output 34Amps on its +12V rail. Even though you're 20W short, the Amps on its +12V rail is pretty good. So the PSU you've selected will power up your entire rig with ease.

You want a PSU that will be as efficient as possible when running your PC; a PSU is not as efficient when the load is too low or too high. Besides who wants to run a PSU at close to 100% of its rating?
