How much wattage does a PC with an R9 280 require?

The other day I found a great deal on amazon and nabbed myself an XFX R9 280. I am planning on building a Pc but I still need to buy a PSU. How many watts does the PSU need to supply if my componenets are as follows:

i5 4490
Asrock B85 Anniversary
8GB DDR3 1600 Ram
XFX R9 280
Optical Drive
WD Blue HDD
Case etc...

(I am not looking for advice for component choice, just PSU wattage)

r9 280 has a TDP of 200w, i suggest you get a decent 450w-500w PSU, either a Seasonic or XFX brand would be good

Tier 1 or 2 model, 550w or better.

I personally think that an XFX 550W power supply or a Seasonic 520W power supply will suit you just fine OP.
