[SOLVED] How much wattage does my PSU need to be?

Let's say I need a 600W PSU for my system. If I have a 700W PSU, my components draw 600W and I add a 500W speaker to my PC, I need a minimum of 1100 watts, right?

What speakers are you using? They should have their own built in power supply and plug directly into the wall, not your PSU. The only part that should be connecting to your PC is the audio cable(s).

I think that 500W means the max input of audio they can handle.
I dont think it has anything to do with a PSU,since im sure they have a wall plugg.
