How much watts do i need for R9 280x

Before i buy a ASUS R9 280X 3Gb GPU i want to know if my current Antec 500W 80plus Bronze Earthwats Psu would be enough thanks

It would be cutting it too close. You might be able to do some light surfing but anything that requires more CPU usage then it will crash.

A 620 bronze for 90 bucks? You can do better than that. You should be able to get any 600w bronze for under 60.
