How od i use more than 2 thumb (side mouse) buttons?

i bought a mouse with 12 buttons, all of them programmable but the software for this mouse offers me to use only 2 thumb buttons. other buttons can just be binded to control, space, described as stop (a video) etc. but that makes it bind to a keyboard but i want to use more than 2 thumb buttons in games. is there any third party software or do i have to bind every other button to a keyboard button?
