Hi! I have a build for a new gaming pc, and I would like to know in your own opinion on how good this build is.
CPU- intel i7-5820k 3.30ghz 15mb intel smart cache LGA2011-V3 Six Core
HDD- 256gb ADATA SP610 SSD + 2TB SATA III
RAM- 16gb DDR4 4x4 Quad Channel Memory
MB- MSI X99S SLI PLUS ATX w/Intel GbLAN, 4x Gen3 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 1x M.2, 8x SATA 6Gb/s
GPU- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card x1
PSU- 1,000 Watts - AZZA Titan 1000W 80 Plus Bronze Active PFC Power supply

So, on a rate from 1-10, 1 being poor and 10 being awesome, what would you rate this build?
Also, I would like to know how many fps do you think I will get on the latest games? Thanks

I would get a 4000 series i7 at most, the 5000 series is the "extreme edition". Your processor doesn't need to be that extreme to play games, your Graphics card maybe, but not the processor. An i5 or reg i7 is more than enough to get 60 fps.

With the 4000 series i7 you prob want to get a Z97 motherboard or at least an H97 motherboard.

Also the Z97 will use DDR3 RAM which is cheaper and also more than enough for gaming, that should drop the price of your rig a decent amount, which you could use to put in your pocket or get more GPU power. (GTX 970 SLI or GTX 980 SLI)

I would reccomend just saving the money as 1 GTX 980 is great for anything less than 4k.

If you get one gtx 980 you wont need more than 500W. I would get 750W if your trying to SLI.

It would be a powerful pc but also way overpriced, the CPU doesnt need to be that powerful, nor the RAM and MOBO. 1000 Watts for a gtx 980? 980 uses less than 200 Watts.

Theres much better ways to spend 3 grand.

It's around 800+ for the whole thing, should an 850 PSU work just as fine? Also it's barely 2 grand in total. What mobo do you suggest for this build?
