So basically I just built my first pc (pcpartpicker link: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/wfP323) and I want it to run cooler. it runs fine. But I want it cooler. I have 2 fan connectors on my MOBO but I am getting a split chord for 4 fans total (https://www.amazon.com/JBtek-Black-Sleeved-Splitter-Converter/dp/B01EF9OI0O/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1495930721&sr=1-3&keywords=fan+splitter)
if I want more fans I will just get the nzxt fan connector hub. (https://www.amazon.com/Nzxt-Digital-Controller-connector-AC-GRDP2-M1/dp/B0156YBCKG/ref=pd_sim_147_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0156YBCKG&pd_rd_r=MCDBVZB52XWPAT9WYB44&pd_rd_w=GX1p1&pd_rd_wg=pqoMY&psc=1&refRID=MCDBVZB52XWPAT9WYB44)

ANYWAY MY QUESTION is how should I configure my case for max fan support. I want to go with the AF120 corsair fans, as I have 3 in my pc already (only 2 are being used) and I want to get the ones with the white leds. will this work? or whats a better solution for cooling in this case preferably with white leds. how many should I get, and where should I put them?

here are the approximate temps:
CPU TEMPERATURE WHILE IDLE
40.0° C
CPU TEMPERATURE UNDER LOAD
78.0° C
GPU TEMPERATURE WHILE IDLE
40.0° C
GPU TEMPERATURE UNDER LOAD
66.0° C

I really don't know why so many people like the AF variants that much. The static pressure ones are better.

Anyway, your system runs fine. The only way I would think that could allow for cooler temperatures are to get a third party aftermarket CPU heat sink. I don't see any heat sink in the list, so I'm assuming that you're using the stock Intel heat sink. If you're that persistent on getting cooler temperatures, then get one of those (I think it's quite unnecessary and a waste of money tho) . Since you're in a matx case, you'll have plenty of options to choose from.

Also, every case is different. To find the optimal case fan placement, you should experiment with different combinations in your case yourself. Then you'll know your case well.

So could I get 2 led fans and replace them with the ones i have right now just for the leds and then get a liquid cooler for my cpu? (which one on this page is best for cheap non overclocker pc builds? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181010&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Liquid+%2F+Water+Cooling-_-N82E16835181010&gclid=Cj0KEQjwx6TJBRCWtsiXpI7bhOYBEiQA1en3FzaVZa_EAazNVfemgWw7ijejvGOIzp0aAPBZPv-KLnoaAs9s8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds)

also I read the af fan versions are for more open parts of the case unlike the sp that are for confined spaces up close to ur mobo, gpu etc...
