hi

Please excuse me in advance for my inexperience . . .

MY system rig:-

i7 6800K
msi SLI PLUS x99
PSU GX-II 650 bronz series
16ddr4 ram gskill
cooler Master .. air cooler H212x
cabinate 912half combat
graphic card asus 710 2gb ( temporary ) ( but will add atleast 1080p in future)

I bought 3 fan ... 2 Cooler master sickle flow x 120mm and 1 arctic 140mm pwm fan

I want to add one arctic 140mm pwm on my case (side ) and 2 cooler master 120mm sicklflow X fan (as an exhaust) on top of the case .. already one back fan and cooler master hyper 212x in my system.

So plz advise me :-

I want to connect arctic pwm fan on motherboard and both CM sickle flow x fan (as an exhaust fan on the top case ) connect with psu (I dnt want to put extra load on my mother board.) .. so will it be good?? iF not thn whts the other solution?

can sickle fan be use as exhaust fan for top.??

how many case fan should we install in system ??

Thanks

Solution
Two cooler master sicklflow 120mm and one arctic 140mm pwm fan (cpu cooler and one rear fan already mounted) Cm 912haf cabinet.. msi x99a sli plus mobo.. hope this info wl be enough

If they are low rpm / silent fans you can always connect them to the molex connectors of your psu.

Check on the manufacturer site, webshop where you are buying the fan or on the packaging.

2000 rpm would not use molex at that speed.

I think 3 pin splitter or hub is probably your best option or a fan controller if you like to manual adjust your fans.

Obk so i use this fan with my mobo..
Hope so my mobo will nt gt extra pressure (load) by attaching multiple fan...
So now I m going to use 2 sicklflow(120mm) as an exhaust fan on top and one arctic 140mm pwm fan on side as an intake.. is this right airflow ??

why not intake fan at the front of the case?

More intake fans > More exhaust fans

Also better against dust

Nitin actually i was thinking 140mm fan wil be enough...
but if u guys think its not right thn .. so i can put one120mm fan on top (exhaust).. 140mm on side (intake) and 120mm fan on front (intake).. and already one back (exhaust) and cpu cooler in my system.. so now is it right ??

I would do 2x intake 120mm front, 1 intake side fan and 1 back exhaust 140mm and 1 top exhaust 140mm.

Really you want more air pushing into your case than air thats blowing out.

Yes but that depends on how many fans he has

Well can you tell us how many fans you have and 140mm or 120mm doesn't matter that much. 140mm is a bit more silent thats all.
