Okay, so I went and got my PC built. They installed Windows 10 and I have already activated the product key that was used on my old PC.

I have two drives on the new PC. 2TB M.2 NVMe and 2TB SSD. The operating system is on the M.2.

My old PC has an HDD. But I have made system images in addition to back up files on an external hard drive.

What method did you all use the migrate your data and files to your new build? Is there a certain migration program you recommend?

Also, I didn't know Microsoft discontinued support for office 2010 last year. I'm probably just going to get the office 2019 standalone version instead the Office 365. That said, would there be a way to migration/transfer my old office version?

Thanks for any help.

The new OS is already on my new PC and I activatedy windows product key. So I would have to reinstall?
Not Windows again. But your applications.

And no, that backup/restore facility is NOT what you want.
You just want to copy the actual files from wherever they are.
