Does anyone know how to make a computer turn on via a keypress from USB keyboard with windows 10? It works when the computer had windows 7, but stopped working once I upgraded.
Boot from keyboard...? Are you sure you don't mean wake from sleep/hibernate mode? As far as I'm aware there's no option to literally boot from a keystroke...

No I mean press any key on the keyboard and the computer starts up from a shutdown state. I have an ASrock Motherboard. Bios settings are turned on for "boot with USB keyboard press"

Hmm. Well try plugging your keyboard into either the top left or top right USB slot on the rear of your PC. I forgot which one it is but I know one of those two are given highest priority by your motherboard, and some MB's will only let that USB slot host a device in BIOS.
Thanks for the suggestions. I settled on not shutting down the computer and using the hibernate function instead. It's the closest to what I had when running windows 7. Power draw seems comparable. Now any keyboard press will wake up computer and gets me to the login screen. The only time that it will not work is if the computer loses power... then I need to manually press the power button.
