How stable are MocA adapters in terms of gaming?

I plan on getting a pair of moca adapters to provide a lan connection to my gaming PC upstairs.

I have TWC 100Mbps with my own Motorola SB6813 modem. I was wondering if these are suitable for gaming (for example, no random high latency spikes)

MOCA is very stable. After an ethernet cable, I would say MOCA is the next best choice (for gaming) if you want stability. It is much better than powerline or wifi. The MOCA adapters will probably add 3ms or so of latency but it is worth it to get a stable connection. On mine the latency never fluctuates more than 1ms (so I get between 3 and 4ms delay over MOCA). I don't know your COAX layout and what all you have running on the COAX, but if you have nothing running over the COAX or if you have Satellite, then there is a much cheaper alternative to the MOCA adapters you linked to. Here they are: https://www.amazon.com/PACK-Broadband-Ethernet-Generation-Supplies/dp/B01AYMGPIO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1470156797&sr=8-1&keywords=deca
