How stable is my system? Could it be improved?

Hello guys,

As you can see on my signature I've got a Z97M-PLUS, Intel G3258 and as a cooler the Cooler Master V8 (Not GTS). I've managed to overclock it to 4.2 (42x100 multiplier) and my current voltage is 1.250, however I did not tried to lower it. My temps during a stress test that I performed for 20 minutes averaged 58.1C.

So here's my question: Should I try lowering the voltage? How stable it is at the moment? How do I even know if it is stable?. The fact that it doesn't crash and my temps are good is enough to say it is?

Another question that may or not be related to the same thing. I also have really cheap/bad RAM and HDD at the moment. However I am planning on changing to WD Black 1TB (FZEX) and also G. Skill Ripjaws X 2x4GB DDR3-1600 CAS 8. Which of the two would you change first?. I'm thinking of the HDD since it will be SATA III compared to my current SATA II.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Download and run prime95 for at least 3 hours (blend torture test). If no cores fail (when it says 'not running' it means that core failed)then you're stable.
Thanks for your answers, I will try that but 58 sounds like a good temp even though my ambient temp is +30C. So if you think about it that is a great temp. Now in regards to my second question, which of the two should I change first for performance improvement?
