Hello everyone.

I have a simple question for you guys today, let me explain my situation first.
My family decided to surprise me on my birthday by buying me a new Motherboard (Asus Prime Z390A) and CPU (i7 9700k) and i am so excited to get them into my system. I will be buying a set of
Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB Dram to complement that because my old system is running on ddr3.

I just need to know if i have to buy a new Windows 10 Installation disk, since the win 10 currently installed on my system was an upgrade from a win 7 and i lost the key to that windows 7. Or is there some way to reinstall a clean version of windows 10 with the key that my current win10 is using?

Thank you.

Link your current Win 10 license to your MS account. Thusly:
For the OS activation, read and do this before you change any parts:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change
https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/windows-build-1607-and-activation.2786960/

Then, clean install on your new hardware. Thusly:
https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq/how-to-do-a-clean-installation-of-windows-10.3170366/

Then, tell the Activation Troubleshooter about your new hardware.
