Solution
Judging by the model i doubt you can do much to upgrade it unless you can find some old parts that fits this laptop specifically... HOWEVER! You can replace the old harddrive and upgrade memory. Unfortionatly there is only 2 GB ram at most for 1 stick and that is the MAX amount supported by this model.
As far as the hard drive goes, you can replace it with an SSD or a regular laptop hard drive as long as it has the 2 male pins as SATA does.
Here is one brand

YOU CAN ONLY HAVE 1 Hard Drive in this model!

Solution
If you want to ADD another hard drive, not replacing the original, it may be possible to buy a conversion kit for your DVD bay which will allow you to slot an HDD into the DVD bay. This is essentially a DVD drive with an adapter instead of the drive mechanics, you then have a DVD drive and a hard drive either of which will fit into the DVD bay and both are hot swappable(can be removed while the PC is running). Bear in mind that an extra hard drive won't make your laptop work faster, it will only give you extra storage. Only more memory will give you better speed .
