Hi, I recently purchased Fallout 4. I have 8GB of RAM in my PC, and the game constantly tells me I need to close it due to not enough RAM available. I know darn well that Fallout 4 does not take 8gb of RAM. I have nothing else open while I play the game. How can I allocate more RAM to the game so it stops force-closing itself and I can play it for longer than 10 minutes?

You can't manually allocate more RAM. The operating system will give the game the RAM it needs if that RAM is available to be given.

So all you can do is remove stuff that is already using the RAM. Use Windows task manager to check where all the RAM is being used.

Also enable the paging file (if you previously turned it off. It is on by default).
Also check you have enough free disk space.
