Hi, I've been struggling with my PC lately, it absolutely refuses to update since new years and every time I start it, it goes into about 5 minutes of trying to update to restarting to apply the update and then always saying "update failed, restarting PC" and it finally booting. I figure the easiest way to solve this is to simply reinstall Windows 10 but I do not want to wipe my OS drive again.

Is there a way I can fully backup the drive and easily restore it once I install the OS to it again?

No, not really.

You can, and should, make a backup of all your personal data.
To include username/passwords, logins, etc, etc.

But you can't somehow copy out everything from the old system except Windows, and apply that to a new OS install.
Doesn't work like that.
