How to bind volume up/volume down to a macro key?

Hi,

On my old keyboard the software allowed you to easily set your macro keys for volume up/volume down. The keyboard I have now is a Corsair K30, instead of the software giving you the volume up/down option, it asks which command you want binding and you type it instead of selecting a multi media option from a drop down menu.
How do I bind volume controls to these addition keys? Is there a line of command you can copy and paste?

as far as i can find there isnt a bind in windows for controlling the master volume.

you could create a desktop shortcut to the function with a key assigned to it and use that, as detailed here....

but doesnt your keyboard have media controls already in the top right?

It does have controls on the top right, but I've been using a keyboard with left sided audio controls for the past 5 years so having it stay there would be good.
