how to block cd drive

Hey guys i want to make that my laptop cd drive cant run cds,wont explain why but i just want to make it not accessable

- Click the Windows icon in the lower left corner, then click the Settings icon (looks like a gear).
- In the search field type in Device Manager.
- Look for and expand DVD/CD ROM drives.
- Right click the device and click "Disable device".


Of course someone can go through the same steps to re-enable the DVD drive. Which means the only absolute way to prevent usage of the DVD drive is to physically remove it.
