How to boot from USB?

Hi there, my computer FINALLY is in BIOS, but I can't seem to boot Ubuntu from my USB. Can someone briefly explain what I have to do to boot from my USB? I just downloaded Ubuntu's ISO file onto the USB and plugged it in. I switched my boot order to USB. Anything else I need to do?
(I don't have an optical drive for the record)

I don't think it works to just copy and paste the iso to the USB, you need to make the USB a bootable drive. Use a tool like Rufus: https://rufus.akeo.ie/
I actually used it to make a bootable Ubuntu drive myself just the other day, worked great.
