I would like to build a 150$ pc that can run minecraft and terraria at good speeds can someone help me out I'm new to the whole building pc's

new pc is impossible for that price, but you might be able to get something second hand in your local area, try craigslist/gumtree (for us/UK residents respectively) ebay/amazon or any other second hand/classified website for where you live, try to find systems that have dedicated graphics rather than integrated graphics, then when you find something, do your research. Google the graphics card, the system, the processor and make sure they are at least capable.

a valid copy of windows alone is going to set you back $99. vapour is right...you can't build a pc for that. If you had the monitor and a copy of windows already then you might be able to piece something together if you use used parts.

Refurbished office PC's are pretty cheap around $150.
However Level1Techs did a good series on 'Curing Consolitis' and building really cheap PC's.
The key is to buy a recycled PC from a refurbishing shop before they refurbish it.
You can get a decent PC for $50 and have money left over for a graphics card.
Once the refurb shop touches it, the price goes up $100.
