What monitor do I need to buy for a 4 monitor mount setup? also is it too tough to the eye having such setup? I still don't know if I should go for a multiviewer adapter or 4 monitors, the second option is more expensive but the quality and resolution will be better that's why I'm considering it, I need it for gaming.

Most monitors have a base that may not be removable, also not all can be setup into a mount, not sure where to find cheap ones for this purpose and also small enough.

Logically, you hook each monitor individually to a discrete/integrated GPU and then have the monitors setup in a way that your back, head, neck(ergonomics/seating posture) and eyes aren't strained. One thing most people do is have 3 monitors on one row(preferably at eye level) and the 4th monitor is above the central/main monitor. There are people who read articles/PDF's, so portrait orientation for them would be ideal with minima scrolling.

What do you have to work with? i.e, what are the specs to your build?
