How to build a gaming pc? Any resources you can recommend?

I want to learn how to build a gaming PC. I just have a basic knowledge of hardware but don't know anything on assembling all these. I want a step by step instructions on how to go about building a gaming PC. Any resources that you can recommend? I saw a site called easypcbuilder.com but it charges you 6 dollars for a guide on how to build a pc. Any other resources you can recommend? Thanks in advance!

Just watch computer assembling videos on Youtube. I would recommend videos of CareyHolzman. This is how i learnt and i was able to build a PC successfully. Good luck!!

Something not yet mentioned is issues of compatibility... what parts will work with each other.

There are tonnes of articles on how to build a PC but since the individual components change, you'll want to check that whatever system you decide to build will work when put together.

I'd strongly advocate asking on a forum like this one to know for sure whether you're getting a good set of parts or if you've slipped up somewhere. There's no shame at all in it - and it's good to have the peace of mind that a lot of people have checked out your system and will know whether it'll be OK.
