"I'm still living with core duo 2 "You can use it on a Vitual Machine or WINE,but that program may be a problem running on a older machine.
so on this motherboard, I can use Core 2 Quad Q9650 and 8gb maximum memory. how about hdd, can I use more than 1 HDD.If this is your motherboard, it's a good one.
It's not a standard mATX board though, therefore it only fits into the case specially designed for the purpose.

i can't know where to plug another hdd, i can only see the one that's already plugged, and next to it, there's a plugged cable of the DVD drive.Yes the Q9650 is listed as compatible.
You can use up to 4 SATA HDD.
Like I said,a problem running on an older machine."I'm still living with core duo 2 "

I know, but i am going to quote the publisher of this thread that says there are a many reasons besides that the computer is slow, that makes user to want rolling back on Win 7. Also i said if the user really hates Windows 10 GUI i would recommend to use the Themes that are going to make the newer system look like the old. And yes i am sorry for mentioning torrent but thats the last that the user can do if doesen't finds whats the thread about. No, that did not help at all.
Win 10 will run no slower than 7 on this system.
I contacted Microsoft they said they don't have that anymore. anyway, I will just have to upgrade to Windows 10 when I'm ready for that.Hello,
Just keep in mind that Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 back in January, 2020. Also Microsoft took Windows 7 out of their shop by the release of Windows 8.1. So i wouldn't say it is impossible, but i would say it is very very hard to find a legitimate activation code for Windows 7 in 2021. Everything you can get now by searching "Buy Windows 7" would be scam or outdated sites that forgot to took down Windows 7 buy page.
Best solutions for you are:
To buy and install Windows 8, 8.1 or 10, and if you really a fan of Windows 7, there are tons of Windows 7 GUI mods and themes for Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 that are going to change the look of newer GUI's to the Windows 7 one.
Contact Microsoft on their live support chat site and ask them is it still possible, maybe they still have some links for Windows 7 keys (but i think it'll be expensive as expected).
Download Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 but older versions and SP's that might work better on slower computers.
And the least you should try, which is not recommended, is to download the non-genuine version on Windows 7 SP 1 or 2 via torrent.
Hope i helped.
