Background: I got my CRT monitor to work w/ my laptop at the resolution 1024 x 768 and 75 Hz since I could see the laptop screen to do it but on my desktop I can't see the computer screen, thus I can't change my resolution and frequency to work w/ the CRT monitor

Question: So, how do I change my monitor resolution and frequency without a signal?

Resources/Failed Fixes:
- Safe Mode (video and no video mode)
- Monitor that works with the desktop (not for gaming)
- Regedit changes (guess I failed at this one 🙁)
- Change resolution and frequency settings w/o screen

Please Help! I really want to use my desktop as it's a lot faster than my laptop, and thanks in advanced!!!

Solution
Go into your BIOS settings with the working monitor and see if your BIOS software allows any manual entry for 1024 x 768 75 Hz then reboot with the gaming CRT.
