How to change registry?

Hello guy

there is something I would like to ask

I found a software that available for only 3 hours. so I would like to know how to change or restart the allowance duration. I heard that someone used that software for 3 hours and it has been locked, so that person change some value in registry and software can able run for another 3 hours. I would like to know how to do like that for educational purpose. help me guys
