I have two hdd one 1tb and second 2tb and one 250 gb ssd ,I connected all to provided sata slots in order 1,2,4 where 0th slot is connected to my cd rom and 3rd is connected to my front usb hub, now I when I change my 2tb hdd sata connection to different slot or my ssd sata connection to different slot ,it doesn't connect and computer doesn't boot up. Please anyone tell me why this is happening and what should I do ,so that I can change the slot and use it in normal manner and I do not want to format any drives. Please suggest.

You need to probably change the SATA slot then go into BIOS and set that HDD to boot from

No ,the computer doesn't startup at all; when I put sata connection of hdd to right slot number ,then only computer starts

Move the SATA connections to how you want them.
Turn on the computer.
Immediately Press DEL when you see your BIOS splash screen (looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/mOwMCJP.jpg)

Go to the BIOS Features tab at the top.
Chose your Boot Option #1 - Set this to the drive with Windows installed, I'm guessing its the 250GB SSD?
Hit Save & Exit at the top right.

Your PC should restart and Windows should load up.

No, even the BIOS screen doesn't show up, the screen is blank until I put the connections in right order. Only then bios starts

What is your motherboard model and you are using a HDD?

z97md3h gigabyte and yes I am using 2 hdds and 1 sdd
